Are remote starters useful?
Are there benefits to having a remote starter? There are those people that believe there are only cons. Let's break it down. “It wastes gas.” Yes, of course anytime your car is on it wastes gas! Take this into consideration; Tests by consumer reports on a Buick, report that with a remote starter, “to warm up for 10 minutes costs about a fourth the price of a single bottled water”[1], which you probably won’t warm it up for 10 minutes. “They can steal your car while it’s on.” There are many reasons why this is not true. The car will not go into gear and will shut off if the brake pedal is pressed without the key in the key cylinder. In addition to that you will have the remote and/or key with you, allowing the doors to be locked and the alarm activated. Remember that our remote starts are also 2-way paging alarms. This will protect the car as long as the alarm is not deactivated by the remote, even if it is remote started. All the alarm features will be on and if there is an intrusion attempt the remote will be paged, alerting you even if you do not hear the horn or siren. “Warming a car is actually bad.” This statement is an argument in itself but we are in Arizona! The biggest benefit from remote starts in AZ is the fact that you can leave the A/C on to a desired temperature and remote start it minutes before you jump in your car. The engine is already warmed up and the interior couldn't be more inviting. We have all experienced the unbearable heat while entering our vehicles. A cars internal temperature can reach up to 131 F-172 F when temperatures outside are 80 F-100 F.[2]’[3] That is the tip of the iceberg as far as we’re concerned. There are plenty of advantages we haven’t covered. Now for the last objection about remote starts, “They are just for showing off!” Well, we have no argument for that. Serious Protection for Your Toys
So you just got yourself those 26s you've wanted with a stereo system just as big. What else do you need?... To protect them of course. You'll be getting lots of attention and some you don't want. New digital tilt sensors prevent your vehicle from being jacked up. Digital nano technology senses the angle of your vehicle when the alarm is armed, so even if it is inclined when you park, it will arm properly unlike most other tilt sensors which have major flaws. Also our dual stage radar sensor is the best in the industry. No one can even get their hands close to your woofers. Convertibles and soft tops are usually easy targets for thieves that only want something that is inside your vehicle. The 3 tag system the sensor uses senses someone cutting through your top, but won't go off when a leaf is falling.
